Rebates Assistant

This role will be responsible for executing the set-up and calculation of Introducing Broker Reporting. This is a rapidly growing and constantly evolving area of the business and involves the payment of commission rebates to over 300 business partners.

Job responsibilities

• Calculation of the monthly rebate and concession figures, as well as some weekly statistics
• Development of new calculation methods to match changing business requirements
• Providing ad-hoc reports & analysis to senior sales staff
• Generate and send rebate statements to all Introducing Brokers on a monthly basis, and correspond with them to agree the rebate figures, investigate queries and arrange payment
• Applying internal checking procedures regarding the set-up of clients and introducing brokers in the system
• Investigating repeated problems and implement new processes to avoid these issues going forward
• Coordinate the audit of product data in internal reporting system
• Administering and checking corrections on client ledgers regarding trading errors or incorrect set-ups
• Providing guidance to the sales staff in all IG offices regarding rebate methods

Essential criteria

• Numerical degree
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Self motivated, enthusiastic and well organised
• Strong numerical skills and ability to analyse and investigate a problem from different points of view
• Advanced Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of SQL databases
• Meticulous with a keen eye for detail
